India’s World Cup preparations: India’s team has reached Australia. Right now his team is 14 players and Bumrah is yet to be replaced. Which will be announced in some time. But right now the question is arising in the mind whether the preparations for the India team are going on.

According to the new news, Deepak Chahar, who was included in the standby players, will not be able to go to Australia for the T20 World Cup due to injury. In his place, Shardul Thakur has been included in the reserve players. Now Shardul, Shami, and Mohammad Siraj will go to Australia.

India’s World Cup preparations: Warm-up matches

India has played the last two warm-up matches against Western Australia. Out of which they won the first match by 13 runs. Team India set a target of 158 in 20 overs on the bouncy bounce pitch, in which Surya Kumar played a good inning of 58 runs in 35 balls.

The team could score 158 runs with Hardik Pandya’s 29 and Deepak Hooda’s 22. In reply, Western Australia could score 145 in 20 overs, due to which they had to face a 13-run defeat.

Talking about the bowling, Arshdeep took a good knock by giving 3/6, similarly, Chahal proved himself by giving 2/15.

On the other hand, if we talk about the second warm-up match, Western Australia scored 168 runs in 20 overs while playing first. Which India failed to chase. However, Rahul played a good inning and took out a knock of 74 runs but the batsman got out early. And they had to face defeat by 36 runs.

In the bowling, Harshal Patel took two wickets and Ashwin took three wickets.
